A Qualitative Study on Family Planning
This study was conducted to gain qualitative information from females, males and health care providers on family planning issues relating to PSP's strategic goals on FP. In particular the study was meant to shed light on the following: ·         What encourages families to switch from traditional methods (withdrawals) to modern contraceptive methods, ·         Reasons for discontinuation of using modern contraceptive methods, ·         Misconceptions regarding modern contraceptive methods, ·         Knowledge of modern methods and appropriateness for different life stages, ·         Knowledge about correct use of modern methods, ·         What type of modern contraceptive method (and why) do service providers recommend to females seeking their advice, ·         Any other related issues.
