• HPC signed an agreement with the Arab
Council for Social Sciences to conduct a study
on the “Consequences of Child Marriage and
Adolescent Pregnancy on the Sexual and
Reproductive Health and Mental Health of
Syrian Refugees in Jordan”. The study aims to
develop a deep and practical understanding of the
health consequences of child marriage and adoles-
cent pregnancies on the sexual and reproductive
health of Syrian refugees in Jordan while taking
into account how conflicts and displacement exac-
erbate the fragility and the vulnerability of this
group.
• HPC signed an agreement with the Institute
Share-Net Quarterly Newsletter– 4 Quarter,2020
for Family Health- Noor Al Hussein Founda-
tion, to apply the national standards of youth-
friendly sexual and reproductive health
services at the IFH clinic in Eastern Amman.
The application of standards began with conduct-
ing a pre-assessment of the clinic and building
staff capacity in this field.
• The Share-Net Jordan team prepared a blog
post on the grant awarded to conduct an
assessment of the current situation of SRH
programs for persons with disabilities”. This
grant is part of the small grant awarded by Share-
Net International to the Higher Council for the
Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2016. The
blog post reflects keen interest in sharing informa-
tion about the outcomes of small grant projects on
sexual and reproductive health and helps to
support the formulation of proposed policies,
initiatives and programs to enhance SRH
services. To draft the blogpost, the team met with
the assistant secretary general for technical
affairs at the Higher Council for the Rights of
Persons with Disabilities, Ms. Ghadeer Al Hares,
